Set of four vintage handmade studio pottery plates, each approximately 7 1/2" in diameter. Two feature dark brown and blue-green glazes with raised cream botanical/abstract decoration; two have cream and earthy brown glazes with black abstract spiral motifs. Wheel-thrown stoneware construction with visible throwing rings and individual glaze variations. Unmarked on the undersides. Each plate is individually decorated, giving the set a coordinated but mismatched studio pottery appearance. Please see photos for glaze variations and vintage condition.
