Vintage hand-thrown studio pottery stoneware pitcher with a rich glossy brown and near-black glaze over earthy mottled brown stoneware. Handmade form features a substantial pulled handle, gently waisted body and shaped pouring spout, with attractive natural variations in the glaze. Unmarked base with visible throwing lines and handmade characteristics. Measures approximately 7" tall, 3 1/2" opening diameter and 5" across the base. A handsome piece of functional vintage art pottery for serving or display.
